Our Story
Meet Brent, our BEST friend and an incredible soul who faced
and conquered leukemia, only to be met with the challenges of a stroke during
recovery. But out of adversity arose a beautiful idea – a cross-country
skateboarding trip that would weave through America's heart, touching skate
parks and spreading love along the way. Thus, Grateful Shred Skates was born.
In the face of hardship, our friend Tim inspired us with a
mantra that became the heartbeat of Grateful Shred Skates. Every morning, he'd
proclaim "BDOMLA" – Best Day of My Life Again. It's a reminder that
life is a gift, and every day is an opportunity for new experiences, laughter,
and joy.
From the sun-kissed skate parks of Arizona to the palm-lined
coasts of Florida, we set out on an unforgettable journey filled with flips,
grinds, and the warmth of the skate community. Grateful Shred Skates is more
than a trip; it's a celebration of friendship, resilience, and the shared love
